We are pleased to announce that we have recently been joined by Vicky Parker who has joined the team as Chief Operations Officer for WestSpring.
Find out more about her in our recent conversation…
Q: For those who don’t know you, who are you?
A: I’m Vicky Parker, 43 from Swindon, married, and have a Labrador called Maverick.
Q: What drew you to WestSpring?
A: The thing that stands out is the people. Everyone has been very welcoming and friendly, and everyone has been cheerfully answering my many questions.
Q: What key experience do you bring to the role?
A: Before coming to WestSpring I worked for a recruitment agency as their Operations Director.
Q: What are you most excited about with the new role?
A: My vision for my role is to ensure that WestSpring operates efficiently and to create a stable operational platform upon which the business can grow. The team have done a brilliant job so far – we have happy customers, and everyone cares about the work they are doing and the success of the company.
Q: What do you like to do outside of work
A: Something I’m very passionate about is a Swindon based not-for-profit organisation called the Platform Project – of which I am volunteer Chair of the Board. I’ve been working with the project for over 3 years now as a volunteer board member. The Project focuses on providing young people with real world business skills and experiences in order to support their transition into work.
Q: Where is your happy place?
A: I love to travel, but I’m also a homebody at heart. To me my happy place and happy time would be at home, at Christmas time – house decorated for Christmas, lots of lovely food, nowhere to be and no time pressures!
We are very grateful to have Vicky join the team and create a stable operational platform for WestSpring whilst most importantly keeping our culture and values at heart. Keep an eye on our socials for more company news and updates!
