As we celebrate international Women’s Day, it’s essential to reflect on the progress we’ve made and the journey ahead in achieving gender equality in the tech industry. At WestSpring, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for women. Our goal is to continue closing the gender gap and ensure that women have equal opportunities to excel in their careers. At the pace the economy is currently going it will take over 134 years until the economic gender gap is closed1, this is something we are not happy with and are actively working to ensure that our company is ahead of this curve.

The importance of diversity in tech

At WestSpring, we recognise the importance of representation and are actively working to increase the number of women in our workforce. Having multiple genders allows for the inclusion of diverse perspectives and improvements of decision making. But more importantly, because it is the right thing to do.

Celebrating our female trailblazers

On this International Women’s Day, we want to celebrate the incredible women at WestSpring who are making a difference. We are proud to celebrate our COO Vicky who has been awarded one of Swindon and Wiltshire’s Most Inspiring Women 2025! We have women across all our departments from our C Suite employees to our finance, operations and Service Desk teams, these women are breaking barriers and setting new standards of excellence. Their achievements inspire us to continue our efforts in creating a more inclusive and equitable workforce.

Looking Ahead

While we have made significant strides, we acknowledge that there is still so much work to be done. We are committed to continuously improving our policies and practices to ensure gender equality at WestSpring. By fostering a culture of inclusion and respect, we aim to create an environment where everyone, regardless of gender, can thrive.
