OUR HISTORY

In 2024, we saw remarkable recognition with numerous award nominations and winning the Lloyds Business Excellence Award! The Customer Loyalty Award highlighted our dedication to exceptional client service. As the year ended, we celebrated further growth and welcomed investor and Executive Chairman James Phipps to our team with more exciting growth to come in 2025.

2023 saw us take a huge step in scaling up the business. We moved from our full to bursting home in Hengrove to much bigger premises in North Bristol. Our new office is kitted out with the latest tech as well as more meeting spaces, breakout rooms and collaboration areas. Not to mention a ping pong table and pool table so it’s not all work and no play! The new space will be able to support our continued growth for many years to come.

The team continued growing, with two new apprentices joining, including our first Marketing Apprentice, to further help get the WestSpring name out there. We won a number of big clients across new sectors and locations. We also ramped up our fundraising this year for our charity of the year, with Tough Mudder, Charity 5-a-side and Grief Encounter’s Gala Dinner.

After a tricky year thanks to Covid, in 2021 we needed to kick things up a notch and accelerate the growth of the business. We hired our first Head of Marketing to tell the WestSpring story and enhance our brand identity. 2021 also saw the launch of our Client Socials, running our first Golden Pin Bowling Competition and Corporate Golf Day.

2020 was an eventful year for everyone. It began with a move to our new office but then days later we were working from home and dealing with a global pandemic! 2020 was as rewarding as it was challenging, supporting our clients at a very tough time, helping them to adapt to a world with Covid-19.

Another year of continued growth and the business was performing really well. Our team doubled and we gained 11 new clients! We also introduced loads of new services including; WestSpring Rooms, WestSpring Lobby and WestSpring Mobiles. We then rounded off the year with an amazing ski trip in Andorra!

2018 was a really exciting one for us, we experienced another year of serious growth and worked on enhancing our brand. We launched our brand new website that was modern and fun to align with our culture. We also expanded our portfolio to include a fantastic new product - hosted telephony.

2017 was a busy year for WestSpring, from moving into our first office after partnering with Datto, to outgrowing our offices one more time before finally settling in at Filwood Green Business Park in September. Elliott also became the first member to join our team.

After a meeting over coffee, Jason and Phil had a joint vision to create a new IT service with a difference. Unlimited IT support and great client experience and from that WestSpring IT was born, becoming officially registered on the 21st October 2016.
